There is nothing extra curricular about music education
Every student deserves the chance to experience the power of music — but millions still lack access at school.
Through the Music Matters Challenge, Let Music Fill My World is helping close that gap by celebrating why music matters and turning that belief into real access for more students across America.
Music can change a life
Music has proven to help students remember more, believe in themselves, think creatively, build connections, and stay engaged in school.
So this gap is about more than music — it’s about opportunity. As students face rising mental health challenges, chronic absenteeism, and disconnection, music education is a powerful — and underutilized — tool to help them connect, grow, and thrive.

Every student deserves access to music
Let Music Fill My World believes every student deserves the opportunity to experience the life changing power of music education.
We bring that belief to life by celebrating why music matters and turning that momentum into meaningful investment. At the heart of our work is the Music Matters Challenge, helping put music teachers, resources, and opportunities within reach of more students.
1. Fund Music Teachers
Through the Music Matters Challenge, we fund at least one full-time music educator each year at a U.S. school without one, providing up to $300,000 in salary support over three years.
2. Invest in Music Programs
The winning school receives $25,000 to strengthen its music program however they wish — from instruments and technology to the tools and resources educators need to help students thrive.
3. Expand Access
Beyond the Challenge, we support select organizations, initiatives, and partnerships that are helping bring high-quality music education to more students, in more communities, across the country.
Turning Belief Into Action
We're working towards a future where access to music education isn't determined by a student's postcode, school budget or circumstances.

Imagine a world where every child had access
A first note. A first instrument. A first performance. A place to belong, create and be heard.
For millions of students, that opportunity is still missing.
